As I began drawing and focusing on cartooning as well as animating since my childhood (without any education or academic training, which I’m currently planning for), that has advantages but as well as disadvantages. Yes, I have learned to rely on myself in the drawing and training of myself, and the determination to learn animation and directing by myself, and that was useful for me to continue in what I love to do, despite the lack of resources, there was no school, no Internet or even a book!.
One of the disadvantages is the omission of the drawing basics I may have missed, like the Anatomy study, which enables me to draw characters in a realistic, as well as measurement, balance and light. That enables me to apply those basics in every character I move, and to make sure they are realistic in their physical properties (even for cartooning). And one of the most important basics and techniques is called Rhythm, which is drawing the main lines of the specified form, and be able to do the work in a deep vision and with an expeditious manner.
